Mission Statement
The mission of this department is to provide quality human resource services through value-added and innovative initiatives designed to support the organizational goals of the City of Leonard, Texas.

The Human Resources Department is responsible for:

   -Administration of all employee group benefit plans
   -Administration of all position classification and compensation plans
   -Assisting all operating departments with their human resources related needs
   -Ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal employment laws and regulations
   -Maintence of employee personnel records
